Recognition honors a career of leading organizations through transformation, growth and value creation

A deal is only as strong as the people who make it work after it closes, and our team has done that work with discipline and care.”
— Nicholas Martino, CEO, Tavoron
EAGAN, MN, UNITED STATES, November 3, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Tavoron, a Twin Cities-based leader in manufacturing automation and industrial systems, announced today that CEO Nicholas Martino has been inducted into the 2026 Minneapolis Smart Business Dealmakers Hall of Fame. Martino was honored with the 2026 class of Hall of Fame inductees and Dealmaker of the Year Award winners Thursday at the Minneapolis Smart Business Dealmakers Conference.

The Dealmakers Hall of Fame recognizes leaders whose work has made a lasting, often groundbreaking impact on their organizations, their industries and the region over decades in business. With the Dealmaker of the Year Awards, the program highlights the individuals shaping business and innovation in Minneapolis.

Martino has built his career leading organizations through transformation, growth and complex business challenges. He has improved operating performance at high-growth and turnaround businesses, including public, private and private equity-backed companies, and has led teams across diverse geographies, markets and cultures.

At Tavoron, Martino led the company through its 2025 partnership with Fusion Capital Partners and an active acquisition strategy. Since then, Tavoron has added Arkansas Industrial Machinery (AIM), Seltrol, B.W. Clark, DP Technologies Group, Doig Corp., Fluidraulics and Power Motion. The acquisitions expanded Tavoron’s reach across the South, Midwest and Great Lakes region and built scale in its automation distribution business.

Known as a mentor and coach, Martino challenges teams to deliver best-in-class results while adapting to rapidly changing business conditions. His focus on building strong teams and developing talent has positioned Tavoron for sustained growth.

“This recognition belongs to the Tavoron team,” Martino said. “A deal is only as strong as the people who make it work after it closes, and our team has done that work with discipline and care. I’m grateful to Smart Business for this honor and proud of what we’re building together.”
